About the Business
The Grain Terminal's location in the heart of East Anglia, the bread basket of England, makes it a key port for the export of grain. It is one of the leading grain export facilities in the UK, and in 2012/13 handled 33% of the UK's wheat exports. The Grain Terminal offers customers excellent transport links to and from the port, with easy access to the A12/A14.
The Grain Terminal is committed to providing an excellent service to its customers. This includes full traceability and policies/procedures to protect food/feed safety. The Grain Terminal has developed comprehensive Quality Management Systems, which has enabled it to attain the following accreditations/certificates.
The Grain Terminal (Ipswich) Ltd was founded in 1980 as a joint venture between Pauls Malt Ltd and International Corn Co Ltd. As a result the silo facility was designed with the purpose of being able to handle both Grain and Malt.
