About the Business
The company was initially set up by Thadakeit Keitkraivalsiri (Thad) and John Smyth, who met whilst working in an insurance company. As a Thai national, Thad understood the need for oriental individuals in the UK to replicate the "taste of home" through access to healthy, nutricious and authentic produce. In addition, Asian and oriental food was becoming more well known in the UK after holidays abroad and by the wealth of Asian based television programmes and books. Together they realised that this growing taste for the traditional mix of sweet, sour, salty and hot flavours was complimented perfectly by Thai and Asian foods. Thad and John aim to provide access to real Thai and Asian produce from their own label (Thai Farmer®) and other market leading brands for you to enjoy and recreate that authentic oriental taste at home.
